Spoilers ahead for episode 20 of FBI Season 4 on CBS, titled “Ghosts From The Past.”
Only a few episodes left before FBIThe fourth season of endsand “Ghosts From The Past” was another difficult one for O.A.. Shortly after his fear of sarin gas was triggered and his companion was hospitalized due to his exposure, he struggled to deal with the reappearance of an old enemy on the tenth anniversary of the death of an Army friend. Nina thought he was imagining relationships that did not exist when he was convinced that a man named Tamir whom he had hunted in Afghanistan was back, and she was not alone. OA turned out to be right, and thanks to some Photoshop work, FBI guaranteed that the reveal was a good twist.
Tamir Hazara was a target long pursued by OA and his unit in Afghanistan, and he was convinced he hadn’t died after seeing someone who looked a lot like him in a restaurant. He couldn’t get close enough to be absolutely sure, and it turns out the show’s graphic designer went the extra mile to ensure viewers couldn’t be absolutely sure at first either. The Wolf Entertainment Twitter account shared some behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the story:
Before and after! Tamir’s photo was edited by our #FBICBS graphic designer, Anastasia Vasilakis! She made him look just different enough for OA to be skeptical of his death by thinning his nose, altering his teeth and eyebrows, aging him, and adding a beard! #TheFBI pic.twitter.com/mnYginyrTWMay 11, 2022
Graphic designer Anastasia Vasilakis used Photoshop to modify the actor Fawad SiddiquiTamir’s appearance is just enough to cast doubt on Tamir’s identity for OA, who was already facing doubts from his co-workers. Kudos to OA for sticking to his guns even when no one else thought he was right, especially since it might have been different if Maggie was still on active duty as a partner. instead of recovering sarin gas. (You can rewatch this game-changing episode with a Paramount+ subscription.)
OA’s expertise and experience with Tamir proved to be the key to catching him and saving lives before he could literally disappear underground again. There was a pretty incredible sewer fight scene that could have been more than a little cathartic for OA, who probably needed a win at this point. He also received apologies from both Jubal and Nina for doubting him, and Nina’s talk about hiding stress for years before getting up to cause trouble resonated with his temporary partner, and he was ready to open up to a therapist about what he was up to. he crossed.
This difficult episode for OA comes after the actor Zeeko Zaki led the castings of the three FBI franchise shows celebrating some very good news. FBI, FBI: Most Wantedand FBI: international have been all renewed for two more seasonsbringing the FBI the season counts to six, the Most Wanted count to five, and International up to three.
